COLOR PALETTE MASTERPOST by forbiddenforest

So today I felt like sharing some useful websites that provide pre-made color palettes (left side), as well as sites that allow you to create custom ones (right side). They can be used for graphic design, themes, art, interior design, or just something pretty to look at.

something I accidentally discovered today! (I’d imagine a lot of color theory stuff was involved with computer fonts that makes them readable and not all pixelated)

the sheer amount of images they have here is ridiculous, all (most) of which is sourced correctly

check it out!

thank you to the user who sent this to me

RAD-TASTIC!

I’m going to start promoing art-inspiration blogs, as all artists needs inspiration from somewhere

here’s the first, RAD-TASTIC, which centers bright, cartoony and stylized artwork.

As an artist, I’ve found difficulties finding references images of several things: Modern fashion, variation of facial features, and normal standing/walking poses.

A lot of reference images, especially ones I find for gesture drawing, focus on very… extreme poses, often unnatural or posed specifically for nude modeling. Also normal everyday clothing is often not focused on.

While gesture drawing a wide variety of poses is necessary to learn how the body moves, gesture drawing tools and books often neglect more normal poses.

well, here’s some blogs that are blogs focusing on taking pictures of normal, everyday people that I personally find useful for reference

any other street-based photography blog is good as well, if you have one, fanmail me and I’ll add it

holy crap I just found a tumblr easter egg
